Head-On Crash on McCarran Boulevard Left Two Hurt

SPARKS, NV (September 23, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash at Nicholas Boulevard left two people injured.

The incident occurred on August 21st, at around 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of Nichols Boulevard and McCarran Boulevard.

According to the Sparks Police Department, one of the drivers ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle that was driving through the area. The impact of the collision caused both drivers to sustain mild to moderate injuries.

Responding officers arrived shortly after and located two drivers. Medics then transported them to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, authorities have not released the name and age of either of the drivers.

At this time, State Troopers are unsure as to what caused the crash at Nichols Boulevard. However, an active investigation is underway.
